front

The Library Media Center is a place that helps create 21st Century learners. Through common learning experiences, skills are taught through digital, and print methods.

Students have opportunities to be exposed to high quality children’s literature through reading and listening.  Students have opportunities to explore their interests through inquiry and collaboration. The library provides opportunities to use technology to explore and create, and then utilize their new learning in meaningful ways. We encourage innovation and collaboration. Using library and technology resources, Chromebooks, book collections, videos, reference books, etc., students have access to a wide variety of resources to support their learning.

Library and Computer classes help students learn research skills and complete projects that are that are integrated into CORE units of study using library and technology resources, computer “mini labs,” Chromebooks, book collections, videos, reference books, etc. Integrated Studies and STEAM lessons integrate problem solving, critical thinking, technology, research, and collaboration through project based, multidisciplinary learning.
